In addition to this, a comprehensive examination will be performed. Often, an additional consultation will be scheduled to answer any further questions you may have.

It is important to maintain perspective though. Bear in mind that many pictures and videos you find on the internet are sensationalised in order to increase “likes”, “follows” and “hits”. While you are encouraged to learn about your surgery, you should also maintain some discretion when conducting such research. We are happy to separate fact from fiction for you!

This once again depends on the type of surgery you undergo. The bulk of the cost of cosmetic surgery is paid to the hospital and not to the surgeon (contrary to popular belief!).

Cosmetic surgery is considered non-functional surgery by medical aids and are therefore not covered by them.
